Advantage works closely with Dr. Laviola, Prism Psychology and Lakeside Independence

Dr. Chris Laviola is an experienced Clinical Director with a strong background in leading inpatient programs and therapeutic boarding schools. Recognizing a critical gap between high-cost residential treatment and the limitations of standard outpatient care, he founded the Lakeside Independence Program—a transitional solution designed to support young adults in achieving long-term success.
Dr. Laviola is deeply committed to strengthening family dynamics, understanding that improved communication and relational patterns are key to sustained progress. In addition to his leadership role, he remains actively involved as the primary treatment team lead for many of Lakeside’s clients and their families, ensuring personalized, continuity-driven care.
Mission Statement
We are dedicated to offering qualified, experienced professionals to support your child or young adult. Our commitment extends to the families, adolescents, young adults, and professionals with whom we work.
“… I cannot say enough good things about Chuck and his team. They were professional, courteous and understanding. A very difficult set of circumstances was made much easier by the addition of their capable hands.”

“No words can ever convey our respect and admiration for the work this gentleman does… it would be difficult if not impossible to find someone with the experience and background Chuck and his team bring to the table. We wholeheartedly thank him for being there for our family.”
The Highest Compliment
The highest compliment we consistently receive is from the adolescents themselves. Even after an occasionally stressful start for a young person, our goal is to make the transition for the child and family as stress free as possible under the circumstances. We consistently hear “when will I see you again” or “can you pick me up when I leave my program?” We are generally able to turn things around to the point that we have made a new friend and get warm hugs or handshakes when we part. Parents often hear from their son or daughter, “My escorts were awesome.”
